RALEIGH - Third annual North Carolina Fallen Firefighters Memorial Parade. Started at 10:00 a.m. at intersection of Hillsborough and St. Mary's Streets, and travelled down Hillsborough to Dawson Street, and down Dawson Street to Nash Square, the location of the North Carolina Fallen Firefighters Memorial. Participating apparatus represented departments with a line-of-duty death last year, or in a prior year. Pictures shot using a tripod and remote shutter release, using an 18-55mm Canon lens with minimal changes in zoom (and one or perhaps two tripod height changes), and no post-processing cropping at this time.
