RALEIGH - Funeral for Capt. J. Scott Nipper, who died December 21 in a car accident. Visitation followed by
the funeral service was held at Providence Baptist Church on Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh. Engine 13 accompanied the
procession to the burial site at Raleigh Memorial Park on Glenwood Avenue. Engine 27, Engine 26, Engine 11, Ladder 3,
and Engine 17 assisted Raleigh police officers with traffic control. Raleigh and Morrisville fire department honor
guard members escorted the casket to the graveside. Rest in peace, Captain.
