RALEIGH - Retiree luncheon at the Keeter Training Center, and the first event to celebrate the Raleigh Fire Department's
100th anniversary. Retired members were treated to a chicken 'n' rice lunch, received photo IDs, received t-shirts and centennial
merchandise, and had their pictures taken for a centennial history book that's in production. The luncheon was sponsored by
the Raleigh Professional Fire Fighters Association. The Raleigh Fire Museum was open during the event. This is the eight year
for the annual luncheon, which will return to Fire Station 26 near year. The Raleigh Fire Department and the Raleigh Fire Museum are planning other anniversary events this year. To learn more visit the www.RFD100.com.
