CRAVEN COUNTY - Equipment and personnel at the Croatan National Forest work camp, on Highway 70 east
of New Bern. Crews have been battling a wild fire after a June 14 prescribed burn jumped containment lines on June 16.
As of June 22, a total of 21,331 acres of the forest's 160,000 acres have been affected. The fire is 70 percent
