History: From the 1920s to 1984, a steel truss bridge crossed Crabtree Creek just west of Lassiter's Mill. It was 110 feet long and 15 feet wide. The bridge originally was located over the Neuse River, north of Raleigh. A section of the old bridge is located at the old mill site. March 2004.
