History: Boones Pond was later
filled and is presently a residential neighborhood. March

Scotland Street side of Country Club Lake
History: The Carolina Country Club
was incorporated in 1918 and constructed in the 1920s on the
Bloomsbury Park site. The lake is located on the
northeast corner of the Glenwood Avenue property. The
stone dam is located on the northeast corner of the lake and
empties into a stream that runs into a culvert beneath the
500 block of Scotland Street. March 2004.
Glenwood Avenue at Oberlin Road
History: Glenwood Village Shopping Center is the site of a granite quarry that operated in the early 20th century. March 2004.
