_Hear 'n' Aid_ - ?, 1987 (?)                                      
Actually a benefit album, spawned in the wake of USA For          
Africa. "Stars" is the all-star sing-along, with everyone from    
Rob Halford to Ronnie James Dio on lead vocals, an 40-some        
person chorus (including a member or two from Spinal Tap!), and   
about a dozen axe-men (Brad Gillis, Yngwie Malmsteen, etc.) on    
solos. It rocks, in a mid-tempo, non-threatening way. The rest    
of the album is a collection of donated B-sides, mostly live      
tracks from the likes of Kiss, Accept, and Motorhead.
