_Thunderbolt_- DeRock Records, 1998 AC/DC tribute, with a slew of metal musicians covering mostly Bon-era material. Conventional arrangements that, while superbly played, don't always equal the source material. If nothing else-- as with the Priest tributes-- the album serves as an excellent AC/DC appreciation text. Tracks: "Highway to Hell" (Quiet Riot), "Little Lover" (Sebastian Bach v), "Back in Black" (Joe Lynn Turner v), "Live Wire" (Whitfield Crane v), "Sin City" (Jack Russell v), "Ride On" (Whitfield Crane v), "Shake a Leg" (John Corabi v), "Whole Lot of Rosie" (Stephen Pearcy v, Tracii Guns g), "Night Prowler" (Dave Meniketti v+g), "It's a Long Way to the Top" (Lemmy v, Jake E. Lee g), "Walk All Over You" (Dee Snider v), and "TNT" (Sebastian Bach v).
