Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle (1994)

Did anybody else fall asleep in this one?  Director Alan Rudolph's
examination of the early life and times of Dorothy Parker has wit to
spare and no pulse to speak of.  The film just drags and drags.  The
title role is played by Jennifer Jason Leigh and she's a good mumbler,
even if her character isn't very appealing.  Watching two hours of
Dorothy Parker getting drunk and getting laid may be somebody's idea of
fun, but not mine.
