NELLY AND MONSIEUR ARNAUD is an exceptionally well-acted French drama about the delicate relationship that forms between an older man (Michel Serrault) and a younger woman (Emmanuelle Beart). Both the acting and the attention to character detail is fabulous, but be prepared for the pokey pacing. These people take the time to smell the Cognac. In French with subtitles.
