BLACK DOG has one almost memorable sequence, involving a big-rig chase sequence on a twisty Tennessee mountain road. (Car carrier goes over cliff; tractor tries to brake and slams into stationary object at bottom of hill.) The rest of this Patrick Swayze/Randy Travis/Meat Loaf starrer is strictly forgettable. Worse, it ain't even crappy enough to enjoy as a full-tilt, five-star stinker... Kevin Hooks directs. (Rated "PG-13"/88 min.) Grade: F Copyright 1998 Michael J.
