A NIGHT AT THE ROXBURY is the latest (though far from greatest) Saturday Night Live skit-turned-feature film. Bright visuals, an energetic soundtrack, and the goofy charms of Will Ferrell and Chris Kattan are the slight delights here. (The SNL stars are dead-on as the club-hopping, chick-cruising, still-live-at-home brothers.) Too bad the ultra-thin plot makes an hour and a half seem like an entire afternoon. (Tip: Don't eat a big plate of pasta before seeing this movie.) Mercifully, there's at least a *little* momentum to the plot, which culminates in a hilariously botched wedding ceremony. Eh, put your brain on hold and your butt on a pillow and you'll do fine. With Dan Hedaya, Molly Shannon, Richard Grieco as himself, Loni Anderson as mom (!), and a very funny (and uncredited) Chazz Palminteri as a colorful club owner obsessed with asking everyone "did you grab my ass?" Directed by John Fortenberry and co-produced by Amy Heckerling. (Rated "R"/87 min.) Grade: C- Copyright 1998 Michael J. Legeros Movie Hell is a trademark of Michael J. Legeros
