WHAT DREAMS MAY COME is an excellent sleeping aid. The visuals are intoxicating, sure, but a drab script and minimal chemistry between the leads (Robin Williams and Annabella Sciorra) makes this the stuff of sore backsides. With Cuba Gooding Jr. and ol' Max Von Sydow. Vincent Ward (MAP OF THE HUMAN HEART, THE NAVI- GATOR) directs, from the novel by Richard Matheson.
