DOG PARK is a doggoned dull, largely lamely acted romantic comedy starring Luke Wilson (BLUE STREAK) and Natasha Henstridge (SPECIES) as a pair of canine-keen, recently axed ex's who leash out at each other after meeting at a singles bar. (He recognizes her from the title area that they frequent.) She invites herself to his house, they kiss, she pukes, and nobody gets laid. Mixed emotions ensue. Let's see... supporting player Janeane Garofalo appears actually wearing make-up, lame-o leading man Luke Wilson was better in last week's STREAK, and the oh-so-scintillating script commands such godawful gems as "love is not your scuba buddy." Oy. Henstridge at least shows some promise as a romantic leading lady. She ain't bad, I thought to myself while walking out a half-hour in. Lemme know if she gets nekkid. KIDS IN THE HALL co-writer/co-star Bruce MuCulloch writes, directs, and has a cameo... (Rated "R"/91 min.) Grade: W/O Copyright 1999 by Michael J. Legeros Movie Hell is a trademark of Michael J.
