EDTV (1999)

THE TRUMAN SHOW 2, kinda.  Matthew McConaughey, Jenna Elfman, Ellen
DeGeneres, Woody Harrelson, Martin Landau, Sally Kirkland, Rob Reiner,
Dennis Hopper, Elizabeth Hurley star.  Though not really *about* any-
thing, the film has a great cast (obviously), a friendly tone, and a
very, very funny first hour.  Ron Howard directs.  (Rated "PG-13"/120
min.)
