Muppets From Space (1999)

  
MUPPETS IN SPACE has, maybe, 40 minutes of good material.  Think 
"The X-Files" crossed with CLOSE ENCOUNTERS, with a funky '70's 
soundtrack, one blustery bad guy (Jeffrey Tambor), two upholstered 
additions (Pepe the Prawn and Bobo the Bear), half-a-dozen star 
cameos, and Madame Piggy in high heels and a low blouse, flashin' 
that other white meat.  I was aroused...  Tim Hill directs from a
script by Jerry Juhl and Joseph Mazzarino.  (Rated "G"/87 min.) 

Grade: C+
