My Favorite Martian (1999)

MY FAVORITE MARTIAN isn't quite out of this world.  Oh, Jeff Dan-
iels and Christopher Lloyd are frequently funny, but, gads, their
co-stars aren't.  A thick-necked Darryl Hannah hardly registers,
while Wallace Shawn and Elizabeth Hurley are simply hideous.  In-
conceivable!  At least Ray Walston, in an amusing extended cameo
as a Man in Black, emerges unslimed.  And that's the voice of Wayne
Knight as the title character's sex-obsessed space suit.  From Walt
Disney, of all studios.  Donald Petrie (GRUMPY OLD MEN) directs.
