THE OUT OF TOWNERS stars Steve Martin and Goldie Hawn as midwestern emp- ty-nesters who rekindle their romance during a wacky trip to the Big Apple. John Cleese also appears as a rudely funny hotel concierge. Martin and Hawn make a cute couple, while Cleese appears in drag. Alas, the episodic hilarity runs either very hot or very cold and the whole things ends up feeling like one big, New York City product plug. (Rated "PG-13"/91 min.)
