Pushing Tin (1999)

Drama-with-comedy about air traffic controllers, starring John Cusack,
Billy Bob Thornton, Cate Blanchett, Angelina Jolie, and Jake Weber.  Not
much momentum and stupid, stupid, stupid plot twist that lands one hour
in.  I lost all respect for the movie at that point and took off.  Lots
of planes, though!  Ensemble cast has strong fraternal chemistry, too.
Also amusing to see a big-haired Blanchett as Wife #1 and Jolie all tits
and lips as Wife #2.   Mike Newell (FOUR WEDDINGS AND A FUNERAL) directs
from a script by Glen Charles and Les Charles.  (Rated "R"/124 min.)
