Summer So Far

Well, the first fuck of the summer is over.  The majors have shot 
their wads with THE LOST SEQUEL: BATMAN AND ROBIN AND HERCULES 
FACE/OFF THE MEN IN BLACK IN AIR, a $800M trick that was over be- 
fore you could blink two sets of eyelids.  Change the sheets, have 
a nap, and you'll be ready to rumble with round two, a longer lay 
where size doesn't matter and we actually get a little *time* to 
enjoy ourselves.  For the remaining weeks of the season, expect 
*slightly* more-substantive fare as the studios unsheathe their 
smaller guns.  Though GEORGE OF THE JUNGLE, LEAVE IT TO BEAVER, 
*and* FREE WILLY 3 are all on the roster, I'd say we still have 
plenty of heavy breathing to look forward to.  Some of what's 
coming soon:  NOTHING TO LOSE (July 18), AIR FORCE ONE (July 25), 
187 (July 30), SPAWN (August 1), CONSPIRACY THEORY (August 8), COP 
LAND (August 15), EVENT HORIZON (August 15), G.I. JANE (August 15), 
MIMIC (August 22), HOODLUM (August 29), and SHE'S SO LOVELY (August 
29).  Aisle be ready!
