Star Wars: Special Edition (1977/1997)

The "special edition" of STAR WARS is somewhat disappointing and I
guess that's to be expected, given the hype surrounding all the
odd extras and enhancements.  Some stuff looks better, but not 
enough of it.  (I was surprised that nothing had been done-- or,
perhaps, could be done-- to improve the overexposed-looking desert
scenes.)  So, leave that thinking cap at the door, and you'll have
a blast.  Story-driven storytelling doesn't get much more beautiful.
I was in tears for the final fifteen minutes.  (Rated "PG-13"/105 
min.)
