Dave Statter surfaces a photo that will certainly be making the rounds. Ron Trout took this photo at a Gloucester City, NJ, fire on Thursday. See more at Philly Fire News. What are your supply line stories involving obstructions between your hose and the hydrant? Click to enlarge:

I like the one from PGFD where the cop car parked too close to the back of the engine. All the supply lines and attack lines go over and around the cop car.

That is awesome. It’s just a shame that one would lose their job if such an accomplishment was attempted in Raleigh.

This individual deserves an award

Moral of the story is; don’t park where it’s clearly marked “No Parking” with yellow painted on the curb and this won’t happen.

Mike… something similar happened here in Charlotte when an Officer decided to park directly in front of a house with fire showing. http://www.the1house.com/Rozzles%20Ferry.. (scroll through the pics)

After reading the link off of Statter’s page, it appears as though the driver of this vehicle is a local volunteer/buff/“you name it….” Pretty interesting reading there.. he should have known better!
