Eastern Wake EMS has EMS 66 — it’s a peak load truck that totally floats, and it’s based out of Zebulon Main. Runs from 0900-2100.

EMS 42 is still listed in CAD at Fairview, but is located at Cary Station 6.

Hey Mike, is there any chance you could also post things like EMS alarm assignments, like you do with the Fire Departments and with RDU?

Here are the alarm levels. I’ll make a point to add them to the above web site as well, http://www.legeros.com/ralwake/photos/we..

How many of those fire-based units are stationed in the stations, versus parking or idling there?

I don’t know if there is any plan to change the ‘name’ of EMS42’s location in CAD, at least I have not heard of it. I really don’t see a reason to, since it is only a mile down the road, and really, it is close enough. The only people that hear “EMS42, move up to Fairview Station” is the crew from EMS42, since Fairview is not a key station coverage point. And those of us who ride EMS42 know where we are supposed to go.

DJ. I was just saying that because its not on Mike’s sheet. I agree with you completely

Hey 447, I know. I was just clarifying for some of Mike’s other readers before someone asked “Why don’t they change it?” or something.
