Here's a beauty. 1972 Plymouth Fury recreated as vintage New York City police cruiser. Read the Sunday Times article.

You should see the ’72 Dodge Polara that Robert Farish from Little Washington has/had (he’s now deceased). He was the biggest Buford Pusser (Walking Tall) historian on the east coast, and probably the country. I was working at Coastal Electronics in Greenville when he brought us the car, an era-correct prisoner cage, shotgun mount, and Whelen Model 11 lightbar, complete with chrome bell siren speaker. I had a time trying to figure out how the lightbar was supposed to be installed, as it was nothing like the modern bars I was used to.

His page is no longer available, but I found the car online and I have pictures of the build-up on my computer.

The whole process was pretty cool.
