New service truck, right? Replacement for Truck 7?
Legeros - 10/07/06 - 09:52

The new truck will be a new city service ladder, (squad by Wake County Term). Basically a heavy rescue body with all ladder truck equipment with exception of aerial device. Full complement of Vent, Ladder, Salvage, Overhaul, Air Supply with Compressor, some Technical Rescue (rope and water). Spec is calling for extended custom cab with seating for six, (although considered a 10 man cab). Light tower, awning, LED package, some extrication equipment and new graphics package. The unit, although a very dated concept, will be very nice. Bid specs have been sent out, opening first of Nov.
