About these pics… nearly everything at night was shot at 1600 ISO, which helped keep blur to a minimum for the hand-held shots. A tripod was utilized about halfway into the series, as was a wider lens. The higher ISO also translates into more noise in the pictures. And I’m still getting the hang of the new camera, notably how it “meters” for exposure. This is probably one of my first night scene shoots. What a way to start.

great shots, who knew all of the resources that would respond to an incident like this! From the sounds of things everything went as well as could have been expected.
