At long last, a delivery photo of Raleigh's first fire engine. This was one of two American LaFrance Type 5 combination chemical hose cars delivered in early 1913. They were powered by 48 HP four-cylinder engines and equipped with 40-gallon chemical tanks and 1,000 feet of hose plus other equipment.
