Harris Plant

1980s, established.  Provides fire protection at nuclear power plant.

North Carolina State Fair

late 1960s, established.  Provides fire protection, safety checks, and, in later years, First Responder service during State Fair.   First apparatus is pumper borrowed from Garner.   Later apparatus is loaned by regional fire truck dealers.  Personnel later use golf carts and other small vehicles.
