Purchase partially funded with matching federal Civil Defense funds. Delivered
painted white, later painted red.

- Placed in reserve December 1974.
- Designated Rescue 3 by
July 1982.
- Placed in service as Light Truck 1 at Station 1 by June 23, 1983.
Vehicle was repainted red, and equipped with some of the first halogen
lights, mounted on roof. Powered via external source, such as generator on
other unit. Vehicle later modified with home-built shelves, to store and
transport air bottles. Later also pulled a trailer with a generator.
- Removed from
service as Light Truck 1 after July 16, 1988.
- Retired on June 23, 1989, for
sale at auction.
