  1. From last night’s meeting, from the apparatus committee report.

Rosenbauer has won the bid for the tanker spec, for FY17 and FY18. They were the lone bidder. These will be custom-chassis (instead of conventional chassis), two-axle tankers, 500 GPM, 2000 gallon minimum. Three to be purchased: Wake Forest (1) and Fuquay-Varina (2). Rosenbauer also won the bid for the engine spec, again for FY17 and FY18. There were four bidders. Custom-cab pumper-tanker, 1500 GPM, 1000 gallons minimum, 20 gallon foam cell. Four engines to be purchased, Durham Highway and Fairview in FY17, and Eastern Wake and New Hope in FY18. Also, Holly Springs and Garner may piggy-back on the bid for FY17.
